Niobe Labs puzzle is dumb.
Sooooooo does anyone else find this Niobe labs puzzle thing kinda dumb? Why does bungie think we want to watch streamers figure out a puzzle?

I agree. Bungie needs to remember who pays their bills, and it's not the top 1% or streamers, it's the thousands and thousands of casual players that have jobs, families, school, etc. It's a dangerous game to start making it difficult for the majority of your players to unlock the content that they have already paid for. Now, with all that being said, I do understand that Bungie plans on the fact that the top 1% will jump in immediately and unlock the content in a relatively short amount of time - but what if they didn't? Then.... "Lucy, you got some 'splanin' to do"... because the player base isn't going to be happy with sitting around for days waiting for the content that's been paid for to be unlocked. Well, that's all. I'm not complaining, arguing, objecting, etc. Just throwing some perspective out their. Food for thought from a random customer standpoint - a customer that has already stopped pre-ordering anything Bungie related and whom waits for others to play and review the content before spending a single dollar on this company. Just saying. ;)

Actually creating tiers of engagement from the super easy all the way up to "hive mind required" type of material helps this game appeal to a broad cross section of gamers. I think it's brilliant.

6 RepliesIndeed. Watching streamers just randomly find the correct codes is -blam!-ing embarrassing. Obviously Bungie is feeding them clues. Clue: (in French) wait in the shadows to find the real truth Popular streamer: “Mmmhm, mhmm, mhmm, what if we shoot butterfly from hand while jumping in circles with a sword equipped?” (Puzzle solved) Destiny is in some trouble.

Last week was ascendant challenge this week you get shattered throne there is enough to do stop crying and wait for the streamers to have their time to shine too . Everything is not for everyone. They are doing all the hard work so you can just do the forge...... SMH If everyone has to solve the puzzle to access the forge then you have a point but that's not the case it's unlocked for everyone when the puzzle is solved. If you want to solve the puzzle go solve it nothing is stopping you.

Because Bungie relies on these cyber panhandlers for exposure. They think the common man listens to them. I hear the new liberal super soft U.S. Army is even attempting to use them as a recruiting tool.

2 RepliesI never thought of it that way. I think you are right though, I am not watching them. I have no interest in watching others play a game. IF this is going to be done in the future, a friday night or saturday morning release world wide would give significantly more people the ability to participate.
