Niobe Labs puzzle is dumb.
Sooooooo does anyone else find this Niobe labs puzzle thing kinda dumb? Why does bungie think we want to watch streamers figure out a puzzle?

I logged in, noticed there's nothing to do and the 'big event' we have all been waiting on is a puzzle, logged back out, no interest in loading this crap back up. Things seemed to be back on track, game was getting better, but as always its 1 step forward, two back. Black armoury and the way it has been delivered has been a massive fail, full of dispointment, absolute shambles.

3 RepliesThey call this a community event but it's kind of breaking the community. As soon as most people found out that it'll only take one fireteam, they just left it for the hardcore streamers. That's a lot of pressure Bungie put on them and it's going to suck if the payoff isn't worth it. It also doesn't help that a lot of the streamers don't allow you to chat unless subscribed leaving many unable or unwilling to participate. While those who are subscribers are constantly being told over and over, "we've tried that. You're not helping." So a lot of the community is left twiddling their thumbs waiting. There are so many things wrong with all of this and one big oversight is not mentioning how important the bow, sniper and machine gun are. Not everyone kept every weapon be it because they used them for infusion fuel or just don't enjoy those weapons in general. It literally makes this impossible for those players and that's kind of messed up.

99% of people that participate in sports don’t do it at a pro or semi pro level. This is a community event. Anyone here ever watch a sports game? Good then your part of that community, just because pro football players are getting paid millions and getting special training doesn’t separate you as a consumer.

5 RepliesI didn't feel like re-typing this, but this holds more truth then some would care to admit. It's a game, I can see expressing one's opinion, but some are going too far for something so small in life. It's like some act if them people majority of the community do not like are helpless and "we need to defend them". Do you want to know something really interesting about the streamer not figuring it out yet unless I miss who has done it? Funny how since D1 released streamer are always the worlds first or figure out what puzzles Bungie created, they are put on a pedestal and they act like they are better than. Can you explain how all these years they have acted like they are so smart and figured everything out but this? This is just a theory, but I can almost guarantee that this is the first time Bungie hasn't helped them yet. I say yet because it will most likely happen that way. It goes to show they are not as smart as they try to put themselves out to be without Bungie's help. It also goes to show that Bungie has put streamers way above the entire player base especially when they said them, people, are our "community leaders". I don't know about anyone else, but people that use others to make a living only thinking about themselves do Not speak for me.

In-game cipher connections are cool, but linking this stuff to advanced encryption, linking to coding techniques OUTSIDE the game is just wacky and almost elitist. It's pretty bad when simple concepts like bonus features and elitist challenges become the gating factor, and primarily, the only sizzle in a watered down product. If a DVD required you to watch all the bonus features for 24+ hours before the actual Movie starts, would you trash the disk or watch for the 24 hours of extras?

20 RepliesThis community is so freaking entitled to everything. You have no proof that Bungie is creating any content for any streamer. Any YouTuber that wants his career to succeed will always be on top of things like this. Figure out the puzzle for yourself or quit crying. You guy mentality of entitlement is a big part of why this game is failing. Not the only part, a big part. Keep crying some more and jump on a bandwagon so Bungie can consider your feedback. But Bungie never listens anyone....this community is so toxic. Good for streamers, it gives people that want to enjoy the game with little time to play the answers needed so we're not going nuts. You guys are like a mob. "Grab the pitchforks and attack Bungie and the streamers!" If you guys care so much, why don't have a YouTube career? Different life choices? Sucks to be you then, so stop complaining.
