Yeah, the 40 matches is absurd. I hate Gambit, too, so it's even worse. Take into account the possible 15+ minutes a match can last(not even counting loading), that equals out to 600 minutes. Ten fricking hours of this? For one gun? Maybe I'll one day get it, but it'll be in however long it takes to only use it for the free shards from a one match completion. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother what with already getting Malfesance out of the way.

  • Honestly.... I kinda blanked on the last like 15 games... It was such a pain in the ass. but it wasn't that bad... I think if they added a infinite forest and/or and ascendant plane maps (with tile based or procedural generation for some randomness in map layout) and added objectives for depositing motes (instead of just summoning blockers) It would be a lot more fun. Like could you imagine the enemy team putting in motes, and instead of a blocker, mines (like in the prison of elders) spawned so you have to shoot or diffuse them. Having to jump across changing terrain from the infinite forest and figuring out what will go where each game would be a little more engaging.

  • And then things like WoD would be relevant again in more than just one Crucible gamemode, so you can protect against invaders while dismantling the mine. Though, that's another thing that bugs me with the gamemode, invasions. What with BA, I've been in matches where I and an entire team are 600-610, up against at least a 620 and 640+. Basically get one shot by basically everything they have because I'm not lucky enough to get drops that are more than 1-3 points higher than what I have. Sucks that rng basically prevents me from reasonably dealing with invaders. Makes me wish there was an optional level advantage. Have two different options, because it just doesn't feel fun to me to be oneshot body shot by an LFR from across the map.

  • Ever tried getting ace gun in cayde's will gambit kills needed for tuneing. Yea slow count on kills is bs.
