Consoles are catching up, pc’s should be stressing their days as for gaming are slowing down.

A console can barely touch 60 frames......a high end pc can get you over 200. Catching up for sure.....

I’m talking about the future , I know pc’s capabilities but days are catching up.

I'm sorry but even the project scorpio specs cant hold a light to the top end PC specs. CPU wise if all eight cores of the scorpio work together perfectly, then it could reach the level of an Intel i3 (pretty low to mid tier). GPU wise it's better, and games will be able to use around 9 GB of the ram. Performance wise it is close to an AMD RX580, which on a GPU benchmark scale it's at 8415, with others like the GTX1080TI sitting at 14,156. Only reason the console can run 4k easily (for some titles) is because games are much easier to integrate on a set console so developers can optimize games better. PC's are still leaps and bounds ahead of consoles in terms of raw power and versatility, even some new graphics cards hitting benchmarks of around 17k and 21k. The main difference comes from how much money you want to drop, but high end console isnt going to ever catch up to high end PC.

Ehhhh, no, not even close...

Edited by djtanng: 12/22/2018 6:35:22 PMMy Xbox One X already outperforms my buddy's gaming PC he spent more on not even 2 years ago.

Then he probably built a budget system. I built mine 2 years ago and it’s way better then the one x or the PS4 pro

Yeah you can build ones with years old parts that're better than even "project scorpio"
