I think people need to learn to counter things with different weapons, first it was the Sleeper complaints, then Queenbreaker, now Thunderlord?
Use something long distance to kill your invader with or hide around a corner with a shotgun.

not a bad idea, then you gte more cry babies saying they need to nerf invecgive perfec tparadox hawthorne's field forged and every other shotgun and then their gonna pull out the your a cmper with a sniper bs so yeah, no real fix to this but whatever, i getcha

If I have 0 motes, I just rush the invader when he comes in. At the very least you distract him enough from your teammates with motes, or you end up getting the kill.
-
You can't hide from invader because he can see you through the wall. On many maps there is no space for using long-range weapons such as sniper rifles. The problem with these machine guns is only in Gambit mode, since power shells fall a lot. You probably never played against a team with 4 machine guns? You can not even use the ultimate against them, because you die instantly. For the same sniper rifles need at least some skill. For machine guns, the rule is "press shoot to kill them all".

It’s easy to hide from invader

If all 4 people are using machines guns, then you are probably going up against a stacked team...that is using headphones and making callouts. They will make short work of you as an invader no matter what they are using. Take away their heavy weapon, and they'll just team shoot you to death. The weapons aren't your problem. A lack of skill and experience at open-world PVP is your problem.

Exactly..... My whole team runs malfesence or bygones and shotguns and snipers in secondary... we even run non tracking cluster rockets and swords just to see what we can do some times. We all came from the division so open world pvp is what we know. without even using thunderlord we have you melted as soon as you come in... unless your in a super we try to let me get the kills as im the only one without dredgen thanks to no one invading with supers lol. no need for a heavy weapon honestly. but im not ever going to say get rid of them as some are super fun. even legend of acrius is fun in gambit for clearing.

The PvP in Gambit is CHILD's PLAY compared to the nastiness that took place in The Dark Zone. You can't break enough weapons to keep someone who's mastered the play in that game's PvP from making someone's life miserable in Gambit.

same here, but i come from a D1 hunter based tracker clan so im pretty decked out on calling bs like a guy with a thunderlord sneaking up on you
-
and by 8 man obviously i mean 2full teams lol
-
Yeah i mean they nerfed the hell out of everything but no one ever complained something was to strong it was the devs that just noticed and took care of things. everything was lalways changing from 1 shot sniper builds to have some nasty 2 pieces to my oh so favorite 4+ man (multiple team) sticky bomb tactician builds... still have vids of clearing an 8 man team while being chase on man hunts... oh the fun... Are you going to be getting Division 2?

I have no problem with pvp mode. I'm talking about the Gambit regime. Try to play a dozen times without a machine gun in this mode. Then you will understand me.
-
lol i do understand you. What we are saying is learn to counter it. i have gone almost 30+ wins in a row without using them and have come up against 4 man teams using them. learn the maps, learn to communicate, and have a 4 man team who knows what they are doing. if you go in with blueberries then you cant complain about going up against those weapons because there is no comms to combat them.
