game is allready installed but it trying to install again???

i just did a quick PC restart after getting lag spikes (possibly caused by recent update) and i come back to see it saying *install game*, i check the file directory and all 80.7GB is there, but the launcher isn't having it, i've done a "game check" and its picking up that the game is there, but is persistent on re-downloading 57gb for some reason.

 • Hi. Thanks for your report. If you're having installation issues, you may want to follow the below steps, which may help with your issue:
1. Completely uninstall both Destiny 2 and the Battle.net application 2. Delete the following local cache/settings directories:
– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC - %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net More Information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.

3. Reinstall the Battle.net app and Destiny 2
