I remember year one when I could play endgame content like Leviathan and literally use a completely different loadout every time. Those were good days.

I remember when I actually believed the game would move in the right direction over time and instead I was left with unmet expectations and a roller coaster of shit times and less shit times. The game has never been ideal and has always lacked in some major areas. Yes, Rise of Iron was a great time in Destiny; yes, D2 was a lot of steps backwards; yes, Forsake got alot of things right; yes, BA has gotten alot of things wrong. It always seems to be such a polarizing experience and I, for one, am just sick of the ride. I enjoy the lore and the concept sooo much..but the endgame and the other bullshit? I'll leave it for other games. There are too many other gaming experiences that are kinder to the fanbase than Bungie has been and I am more than happy to support them.

Agreed. Diversity in loadouts is what keeps things fresh. Doing the same activity 1000x doesn't feel tedious (or at least "as tedious") when you change it up and try different things.

Yeah but you could only do that since everything was equally weak.
