Hi Xymothan. Thanks for your report. If you still have the first code you generated, that should work toward buying the shirt.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, I was unable to use the code generated, and seeing as I didn't see the need to save that code (why would I with the knowledge I could generate another if needs be and have a month+ time to order the shirt, the same I that I did with my Solstice purchase, I used the link, ended up distracted, then a few days later, re-generated a code just to make sure it would work) and the 'copy/paste' function doesn't carry over when a device is shutdown, though even if I did have that code I find it a moot point in regards to the issues I'm trying to bring up. Which is/are: You (Bungie) advertise the purchase of a product up to a deadline, but put a deadline a whole month prior to that final purchase date, to even be able to generate a code, which is not information you send your customer at all (only the purchase deadline aforementioned), but have it as information that disappears on the Bungie site when deadline for the code has passed and is then only on the product page itself. The chances are people make a, what I consider to be, reasonable assumption that the purchase-by-date would be the end all date, not an arbitrary one in-between, thus allowing you to order the shirt when you please up to that 31st of December cut off point. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the only one baffled/infuriated by this choice.
I'm not sure whether there was a cut-off point to earn this reward, but for the sake of argument, if hypothetically you received the reward email with code-generation-link, on the 26th, seeing the email mentions you have until the 31st of the next month to make your purchase, do you think an individual would always immediately go straight for that, or perhaps think to themselves, I'll order it at a better, because I'm just checking on emails right now. Next day passes and suddenly they can't order the reward you offered, because the information you propvided wasn't enough to indicate otherwise.
But just to re-iterate, if it can be fed-back that additions to future reward emails mention any additional deadlines on top of the purchase one, or advising the individual to generate+save a code out of courtesy, (or just sending a code?) would be fantastic to help prevent any future frustrations. I do enjoy making bungie store purchases, knowing a portion goes towards charity (unfortunately I don't know how much, but what little optimism rests in me hopes it's not a tiny percentage) and also as a general fan of some of the merchandise. So my complaints aren't out of spite or direct anger. More that perhaps there needs to be more care+thought in the rewards system.
