You have a very narrow view don't you? 2 years in a row SRL was brought in during the dawning. Last year it was left out because but for thought they'd get away with no content and all cosmetic items only attainable through eververse, they now know that was wrong. Your whole, "this isn't a racing game" isn't a real reason NOT to bring back SRL at all, it just shows that you don't like SRL and therefore think that we who do enjoy it, shouldn't have it for no reason. Like it or not, SRL is a part of the destiny universe, a big part of it. SRL should definitely come back so that those of us who enjoy screwing around or having friendly competition trying to set the best times can have fun during this dawning. You can go throw snowballs at PvE enemies. Oh wait, "this isn't a snowball throwing game either".

It's also not a dance game, but people have no issue with using dancing emotes.

Actually it is if you read through the lore. Still don’t understand how people wouldn’t want variety especially when it’s only a short time event. Nobody can use the excuse that they should be working on other things,” other than bug fixes” ,when they already have the tools in place for this. Also if you pay attention to most of the planets the tracks already in place. So when it does come back & it will , just don’t play it. While we’re having a blast flying around the track running over NPCs ,you can just be off somewhere else shooting aliens in the face over and over again.

Any situation that has more than one driver/vehicle combo is a racing game. This is as true in real life as it is Destiny or any other title. The fact that other such titles don’t have a racing mode only brings shame to their tribe.

Nah, I enjoyed the game. I spent my time trying to break my own records, the shaders were fantastic and the sparrows matched the shaders, we got fun horns, etc. Again, in your OPINION, it failed. It is a fact that it was not a failure as you say.
