I tried a similar post with evidence showing a YouTuber that was using a second low rank account to land them in matches with total newbies and also got attacked.
I went through the proper reporting channels and nothing.
I did several months of research to ensure I wasn't mistaken.

How is smurfing against the rules?
-
He uses a second fake account that he kicks as soon as the match begins. How is that ok?
-
Boosting.

Edited by Noir Renard: 11/27/2018 7:28:58 PMSmurfing is a big issue in any competitive environment. Especially when it is being used to boost. You should know this if you have ever played a remotely competitive game.
-
But boosting in itself is not “illegal” its the monetary transaction of a service without microsofts approval thats the point of this thread. I know smurfing sucks when you run into it, but thats just luck. At times you whoop peoples asses other times you don’t, can’t always win.

First off boosting is a form of cheating. Second paid carries and account recoveries both undermine the ToS from the publisher and harm the long term integrity of a competitive game.
-
What's wrong with someone playing on a different account? And did you seriously do months of research? Months?
-
what he means is not playing on someone else account but on a secondary owned account to boost his own main account , thats smurfing and its against the terms because its a factor of cheating , well if he did research it then he wanted to be sure it's truly a booster and not a person who is playing together with a low lvl friend.
-
If I'm playing on a secondary account, how does that boost my main account?
-
He isn't playing on a second account. He invites a second account to his fireteam with a terrible PvP ranking. When he starts the match it will put him in a lobby with awful players. He then kicks the fake account and proceeds to destroy extremely bad players.
