You see... I'm ok with QB bow being the way it is. Cause they specifically give up boss DPS for invading and getting many kills. Sleeper was good at both of that. So I dont think it needs a nerf

My issue is ease of use. They’re not really giving up boss DPS when it’s basically 2-3 free kills every time. It is the same problem as sleeper.

Edited by Gamma_Crux: 11/12/2018 6:36:00 PMBut they are giving up boss DPS... Sleeper does 900 headshot while QB does 330 headshot. That's about 3x more dmg. And yes. While QB is easy to use. It isnt optimal DPS. I have QB and I see my DPS lacking on the primeval severely cause there are times I wished I had a diff weapon on like Acrius or 1k voices. Those numbers were on guardians btw

You are correct, sleeper deals more damage. But in the grand scheme of things sleeper normally got 1 or 2 kills before the slow charge rate and the defending team caught up with them and was able to deal with the situation. QB charges so fast it can kill 3 people in a matter of seconds. And while, yes, they are giving up more DPS, it’s way better than sleeper with regard to invasions-the primary problem area in Gambit.

I do agree that invader seeing through walls is also a problem. But before the sleeper Nerf I got 4x guardian invades all the time. Hell I got my malfeasense last step done in one match lol. Think I had 3x 4 person invades that game. But my point is that QB bow is a trade off compared to what sleeper was. Either better Invades. Or better Boss DPS. But not both

I feel like a valid solution to the problem of linear fusion domination would be to introduce other power weapon options. Bungie could potentially limit the power ammo you can use in invasions to the max amount of one heavy pull in crucible (ie two rocket shots, three linear fusion, four grenades, etc.) You wouldn’t be able to reload your reserves, but you could keep them for another invade or for PVE. That would prevent non-stop power spam and increase the use of primaries and special weapons as viable options.
