What use is a dead ghost, sure the Spider could have had guardians targeted(I know I have, sold him a few dead ghosts through my agents of course). Also remember there was the battle of Twilight Gap where many guardians and ghosts died at, and don’t forget when the city tried to retake the moon from the hive as well, and thousands of guardians died there. I like the Spider, we have a mutual friendship, I scratch his back and he mine. Also tell the Drifter a very old friend says hi, he’ll know who it’s from.

To put is simple, the light allows you to tap into a very small amount of the void. But we don’t have the light, so we get our power directly from the void. Without the traveler to limit the void, we are able to use the void more effectively to make it more potent than a guardian can. The void doesn’t have a sort of traveler necessarily, instead you can say each individual does what he/she wants, but most of the time they will band together to form a sort of community to follow the most experienced/adept, I was the first to draw true void power within Sol and have remained amongst the strongest, I have the most experience and the greatest control over the void. I have made it my responsibility to guide those (not light born) who embrace the void, without proper guidance the void can twist a person into a husk of their former self. The void is chaotic, and wild merciless to those who hesitate shattering their minds and fragmenting their souls. We draw our power from the void instead of light, in a sense void guardians I guess can be another term for us.

You and me both, those who think that they can go ahead and do what they desire and break the laws that were placed, are hunted down. I’ve made it clear that we are to help and protect the innocent. Guardians have similar principles, the Traveler tried to make that as clear as possible to me so I promised to help out.

I've never understood why we went through the trouble to retake the moon when we still have 95% of Earth to reclaim. After all this time, there is still only one city full of humans on our entire planet.

Oh and to answer your second question, the hive are more of a threat than the fallen. It’s more likely to form an alliance with the fallen as they aren’t apart of the darknesses army(I assume some are just like some human, exo’s, and awoken). But the hive have a strong connection with the darkness, it allows them to tap into much more power than the traveler lets guardians. The hive rely on sword logic as the guardian necessarily don’t but have a similar one.

You guardians thought yourself all high and mighty that nothing could challenge you, but the dark has its own champions aswell. I watched the ensuing battle that took place, I could’ve helped but revealing myself wouldn’t be very helpful, but I did have a hand in making sure some guardians made it out of there. I tried to warn the Vanguard but it seems the only guardian to listen was Shaxx.

Ah I’ve heard of you guardian, from an old friend. You needn’t worry about either of them, the Ahamkara who fell to the dark or the guardian who fell for its tricks. I don’t take to kindly to those who trespass in my domain(the void). I’m glad you resisted it’s pull to the darkness. But that accursed little pest did tell some truth not all but a small amount, just stay safe young stalwart light and continue to protect the innocent be it human, fallen, exo, or awoken.

Very little escapes me I have agents everywhere, and of course those guardians who display great power and potential in the light I makes sure they don’t stray too far from that path, one of the things I promised the traveler.

She told me I was crazy, a year later I got called to the tower because a warlock had gone crazy found her lying down in a pool of void energy and when I touched her she exploded like a nova bomb.

That would be voidlight guardian, without proper guidance the void will consume and kill you. The void isn’t meant for the weak, hesitation will be your down fall your soul with shatter, your mind will fragment. I don’t trust the traveler doesn’t mean I hate it, if one had to choose a future between light and dark I suppose I’d pick light. But light and dark are both needed for balance, neither can survive without the other, but neither will listen to reason. So a 3rd contender has emerged one that will show them the way, show them that neither can be with a the other yin and yang. The void is between the light and dark and once this balance has been achieved it will fade until it is needed once more. You’ve only seen guardians corrupted by the dark tricked to use the dark to attempt to twist the void. I have no doubt that you will be a beacon of light for the innocent a marvel to be hold, a true legend a champion of light, the void isn’t meant for you. I would rather watch you flourish with the light, leave the arts of the void to those who were never gifted with the light, those who were born with the void, allow us to be the dagger which pierces the dark, we will weaken the dark and allow the light to emerge victorious in the coming battle. But when the war comes to an end both sides will see, that a balance is needed. And when that time comes, I will finally be able to see my family once again. I wish at times I wasn’t gifted with the void that I would have died next to them when the collapse happened, but I suppose that’s what keeps you going that motivation that one day when all this ends and the universe is at balance, that you know you can close your eyes and pass on, to be reunited with those you loved. But until then I will stand strong and help when you most need it, to prepare my agents for the next battle. The dark has grown to strong while the light has been absent, we will meet one day on the same battlefield, we will fight side by side, ‘tis one thing I promised to the traveler that when it comes I won’t allow your light to fade to be stolen by the dark, your role aswell as many other guardians will be most important in times to come.

Hahaha ya think I’m working with Shin Malphur, ah man this is just too much, Shin tried to kill me what years and years ago back in the swamps of Chicago. Wanna know what if you’re running with the Drifter and he likes you. I’ll tell you what I can makes sure you get that first shot, the first trigger pull, the element of surprise all you need to do is make that shot count. But there are 3 conditions: 1. While Shin is laying there at the edge of life and death I want you to tell him that an old acquaintance says” You should’ve killed me all those years ago back in the swamps of Chicago” he’ll know who it’s from(not like I would’ve let him kill me, I owed Jaren Ward so I didn’t kill Shin), now 2nd unfortunately I won’t be there to see his face so I want your ghost to take a picture for me, and 3rd is once you take Shin out, and you get back to the Drifter tell him he owes me now, he won’t be mad he knew this was coming and probably already has what I need. Now take care of that gun, I didn’t let the Drifter barrow a piece of the void for nothing.

Zavala never really talked to the man, guess you can say he’s your average stalwart titan. Cayde well, Cayde was a friend stopped talking to him once he became the vanguard hunter, I hope you made Uldren suffer. And Ikora well you can tell her, I left Invective not some fabricated knock off one but the actual Invective, back in that one spot in the Mumbai Push. Hopefully she’ll gift it to you guardian.

Yea you could revive a dead ghost temporarily, to retrieve what was last recorded and any information that said ghost contained.
