I just played a game with a dude who had one of the upgrades to the Gungnir helmet. I didn't think it was possible to make it any uglier than it already was, but he managed to do it.

I for one want the helmet for a sense of achievement and because it looks cool. It still looked great in halo 3 but was not popular because it was default, and most of the time people want to be original when choosing their armor configuration.

GUNGNIR wouldn't look so bad if it didn't have that stupid smile. The ugliest by far though, is the EVA. Simply because it's a bright, shiny headshot magnet that can easily be spotted from miles away.

Maybe it is the Ugliest helmet but i don't really care about what people think of the Gungnir helm. As long i like it, the haters can piss off. Funny, as soon as i started wearing it, i get a message from a player saying its ugly and some other dude on the other team starts T bagging.....and the lose the match as well.

There are a lot of bad ones but the worst two IMO are Pilot and Security.

I don't think that CQB fits Reach, to be honest but I don't think it's the ugliest. I think CQC, HAZOP, and JFO are the ugliest helmets out there.
