• No offense, ego, but the chance of it happening go up when you play in the higher tiers of competitive. That is because cheating is one of the few ways to gain an edge at the top.

  • Ego, these reports online, both here and in the /r’s are fairly common. I know, here specifically, if a poster is making stuff up about cheating, actually about anything lol, this community will eviscerate them. I’ve seen more than enough gamer tags that have been reported here, BEFORE being redacted by their OP’s or moderators, to know and see that these clearly cheating gamers continue on for extended periods of time. Now, in a population of 12.2 million, is it significant? No, probably not. But we don’t really, truly know the true population data wrt each individual activity. It’s not unthinkable to believe that each activity inside a competitive playlist IS demonstrably small enough to be significantly impacted by just the numbers reported here. My clanmates don’t play anymore, not bc of gameplay bc they enjoy the changes made there. But, we were even laughed at through ps messaging immediately before 3 of our mates lost connxn in an Iron Banner match. Iron. Banner. Ppl are cheating, even in quickplay, non competitive. Why? Perception is Bungie does little, if anything to deter it. Maybe even encouraging it instead.

  • Ok...I'm sure you have your data analysis full of statistics and comparisons to other games to prove your claims. Right?

  • Well where are your stats and analysis professor? The PvP side of Destiny is rife with DDOS’ing and Account recoveries. It took four years for them to ban ClayIsClufch despite having all the video evidence in the world. Wanna know why he finally got banned? BECAUSE A POPULAR CONTENT CREATOR REPORTED IT!! Let that sink in, Despite numerous reports from REGULAR players, VIDEO EVIDENCE sent in by REGULAR PLAYERS, bungie stood by for four -blam!-ing years and did nothing and ONLY when Mr.Twitch played ONE MATCH against him, he filed a report to bungie and Clay instantly got banned. So take you “it doesn’t happen to me” bullshit away. You are either A.) not intelligent enough to realise when a DDOS occurs or B.) you were dropped on your head as a child and cursed for life with the brain of a goldfish. DDOS is more frequent than my exotic drop rate. Last week I got banned from competitive BECAUSE I GOT DDOSED four times in 5 hours from some stupid little four stack at 5500 points (even though I’m only at 2200 or w.e) Analyse that Robert De Niro.

  • I don't have to. I didn't claim anything was out of the ordinary. You however do have to present information that support your claim.

  • I have to disagree both arguments should present their own proof statistics etc. It's not one or the other should provide evidence of somthing. Though there is a lot of evidence of cheating in destiny and very little in other games.

  • It's all anecdotal. You seriously believe all the people that accuse others of cheating? Most of the time its a kid that can't get over the fact that he was bested...or confuse lag with cheating

  • I think you misunderstood what I meant. Yeah a lot of "Oh that guys cheating" is not true but the same can be said of "he wasn't cheating get gud scrub noob". That's why I say both should present their own evidence not one or the other or else it all comes down to he said she said here say.

You know what I don't get and this is why I didn't bother making a reply to your last reply to me? a conversation works both ways not just 1 way and this forum has this illusion that if anyone makes a claim that they have to prove it. That is false knowing a lot of what has been said is (all over the net, this forum, Reddit etc... with more than enough info that is proof certain things take place more often than you would care to admit. You're too easy to read by looking at the comments you have made on this thread. So here lies the issue, a person that is challenging someone to prove whatever has never really done their research about the company or game. Example, I know a lot about what happened D2 prior to it being released. Like the CEO quitting during production. Do you know how many people actually know this on this forum? I can almost guarantee more than half this forum doesn't even have a clue that that took place. Yet because they never do their research they, like you seem to think it's false and will challenge a person to prove it. You're not looking to have a conversation, I mean, I can see that as bright as day. You're looking to play a game on who is right and who is wrong. This is why I didn't bother with you. There is no right or wrong here and you need to grasp that before you even start up a conversation. Do you know why more then half this forum doesn't know much about the game or company? let alone Activions?
It's because they don't pay any attention to the game they play or bother looking things up. I bet you didn't even know the CEO of D2 quit and I bet I can name quite of few things you literally do not know about this company and what actually happened in D2 before it released. Your attempt to say this doesn't happen more often than not failed and failed hardcore. This is nothing personal, but do your research before making any more comments on this thread because so far 3 people have proven you wrong.
Edit: Don't expect another reply to me. I don't want a long dragged out waste of time going back and forth on this.
