Ok after reading all the comments heres what can happen You can’t sue bungie because you haven’t had your reputation damaged or been hacked or anything like that To sue you have to prove bungie not only knew but failed to do anything about it Criminal charges can be laid as it was an unauthorised access to personal information and actions taken were not of bungies guidance or guidelines for running the program Your best bet is to contact a cyber crime division of law enforcement and put forward your case as best you can It may not get the results you want but everything is on file and if your right these types always slip up eventually You just need the patience to see it through

  • Ddos can knock out your service for long periods of time which at a minimum is destruction of private property(the actual service you pay for) and potential business interruption if you work from home. Bungie has acknowledged these types of attacks and claims to do something but a simple YouTube search proves they do nothing. Would not be hard to prove a Willful Negligence claim but the damages are very small unless you go for class.

  • Let’s be honest unless your a bungie employee doing a whistle blow you can’t actually prove they aren’t doing anything about it They may have a person dedicated to looking into that very problem and then it’s not bungie but that person All bungie need to do is prove either on paper or by other means that they actually are trying and any suit will be thrown out And if by chance you want to drag it out your looking at a 5 year minimum before every option bungie has expires

  • huh? No you can do a class action suit my dude. for MULTIPLE reasons, most of them being the stunts they pulled on livestreams, which are glaring video evidence of the exact lies this dude is mentioning. Problem is, it's gonna be hard to get a class action against Activision, because they will probably just pay off said judge and or group depending.

  • As I said in the above post class actions need proof at the moment the only damages are an L in the win/loss column As for paying off judges etc well it’s creative but really not needed The fact is someone else done this not bungie it’s like going to a football match and getting punched in the face by a rival fan and trying to sue the nfl Any action you try will be long and drawn out and that’s if you get representation Add a very low chance of actual success it’s better to focus on criminal charges against the actual person
