Are the people one plating calus also cheesing it?
When dps becomes available, people should use the best strategy to do as much dps as possible.
A cheese is some type of strategy where the boss can't hurt you or adds can't get to you.
As someone that hasn't even had the chance to try the cluster bomb strat, I would like to give it a chance before you get them to nerf it.

No. To reach the calus damage phase you work thru the mechanics. With riven you don't. Either you don't understand the cheese or don't understand examples.

Using the rockets isnt exactly a "Strategy." Atleast for the Calus fight, you had to go through the mechanics. Calling out symbols, punching the correct psion and shooting skulls, then you could DPS 1 plate if you wanted. What the rocket strat for Rivens implies that you avoid all boss's mechanic. Itll be like stacking 6 people in Calus throne room and not worrying about calling out symbols. That is the general issue with this supposed "rocket cheese." It cant be called a strategy if it avoids raid boss mechanics.

Not following the logic here. You're comparing apples to oranges. Your objective is to dps enough to kill him during the plate phase. Not kill him on the last plate. That's ridiculous. Your objective is to dps enough to send it away to the other team during the room phase. Not kill him in the room before you even actually start the dps encounter. That's ridiculous. It's obviously a flaw in the design that's being exploited. I don't know why you're trying to justify it.
