The tubes contain swirling Taken energies. Exotic Perk: Weaponized - Vortex grenades generate a suppression field. Enemies touched by the grenade affect others in close proximity. The mechanics: Vortex grenades take on the appearance of a small Blight. Suppression lasts for three seconds after leaving the AoE. Yes, the grenade still damages and shuts down supers. The suppression effect that enemies experience suppresses others so long as they are standing in close proximity. This affliction does not shut down supers but it does slow them down as if hit by a single shot grenade launcher's concussion. Grenades charged by Chaos Accelerant still make the grenade bigger and last longer.
