When i see people asking for skill based matchmaking, than i get a little bit angry.
Because i know that those people don't have a clue, what they are talking about.
Have you ever tried competitive? That's skill based.
SBMM in Destiny = LAG, LATENCY, DELAY!
When there will be dedicated servers, ask again.

Look, lag or no lag, it isn't fun for normal people to play against the people who are extremely good. And the quick play players are insane. I'm not bad at games like this, I have a plat rank in overwatch (not amazing I know, but at least I'm decent), but every single QP round I come in worst on my team. By a lot. The quickplay playerbase must be in the top 5% of all players right now. Maybe quickplay would have more people in it if it was actually fun for anyone other than the very top people.
