The last mission actually made me feel bad that he gets killed. Clearly his grief and love for his sister made him easier to manipulate. Riven was who killed cayde, uldren was just the weapon used.

I agree with you to a degree, and certainly respect your opinion. But here's something else you should consider: according to Forsaken lore, Uldren's been a bad boy since being picked up by a crew from the house of Kings on Mars. It was under his direction that house Dusk formed, and he lead the Fallen in raids against the Reef, murdering his own people. I'm not trying to dissuade you; I asked people to choose between salvation and punishment for a reason. But I thought that you might not be acquainted with all of the facts.

Or they just don't know yet, given the scattering of the lore and that the campaign only shows him having killed the throne guard and not the other heinous things he's done.
