The boost specifically warns you that it skips things. This includes all rewards you'd gain while playing through. If you want the rewards and benefits of actually playing through the campaign, then you need to play through the campaign.

  • So how is this fair on people that paid for character level boost but not give you these gear? It’s ridiculous!

It is about as fair as someone that paid for a plane ticket from one end of the country to the other so they could skip everything, and then chose to complain because they didn't get to see all the sights and attractions they would have seen if they took a bus? Using the boost -warns- you that it skips things. It tells you this. You have to choose to use the boost. Choosing to use the boost comes with its benefits and penalties. Skipping means skipping. If you skip from point A to point C, then you miss point B and whatever point B had to offer. Your fix, as you know, is to create another character of the same class and actually play through the sections of the game that you chose to skip so you can unlock the things. It won't take you long, especially if you have help. You won't lose any of the things you gained from the boost (the other leveled character and the equipment that came with it). This would only be somewhat of an issue if you already had three different characters (like many others who actually played the game previously before Forsaken), but you're not in that group of people, so you should be good to go. I understand you're frustrated and having buyer's remorse, but you have to understand that you made a choice even after being warned what your choice would do. Good luck to you, regardless of what you may choose to do from here on out. That being said, Bungie may eventually make it so that the Boost rewards players with things they missed (achievements, exotics, other rewards and unlockables) but if they do, it's not really something you can hold out hope for being an immediate fix before you get your other Hunter through the campaigns; if the fix comes, you'll already be good to go.
