The Clan Redeem who was worlds first

The clan Redeem who was worlds first was only high enough light because they exposed a way of getting higher light by not picking up their prime engrams to let them build up and therefore become higher light when they decided to decrypt them. IMO that is a little scummy. Everyone else did it the way Bungie intended except them and it benefited them to the point of worlds first. Obviously they still had great skills in coordination and communication but to be on average 30 light higher by exposing a fault in the design of light advancement seems a little scummy to me. I know this is not well known yet but I was told directly from one of them who I will not name for obvious reasons. What are your thoughts?

  • ridiculous to even bring up such a stupid thing. if it's in the game. it's fair game, unless its an obvious hack of some sort. move on. nobody cares about the engram thing. I'm gonna do it on my second character now. thanks to them for finding out for me
