  • Technically yes bungie wants everyone to purchase the dlc and not to gameshare. However gamesharing is a console feature not a bungie feature.

First, please clear the Xbox One's cache by unplugging it for 30-60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. Log in and see if you still have the issue. If you still have the issue, please read on. I'd suggest going in (while logged into your account), to Destiny 2's Manage Game screen, going to installed, and deleting the unlock keys for Forsaken. After doing so, go to Ready to Install and install it again. If, after uninstalling, it doesn't show up in Ready to Install, then please ask your husband to make the Xbox your husband's home console again, as it's no longer set up as such. The fact that you were able to get past level 30 shows that it was giving you access to the license through license sharing, so the issue may just be that you need to re-get the unlock key because it may have somehow gotten corrupted, thus why I'm recommending redownloading it. Also, just as Megatron says, yes, Bungie wants everyone to purchase the game that wants to play it, and they don't offer customer support for anything outside of Destiny and Destiny 2. License sharing is a console feature, not a Destiny 2 feature, and as such, if the above doesn't work for you and you've somehow lost access to sharing your husband's licenses, then you'll need to talk to Microsoft. If Microsoft tries to send you back here because it's not working, then you're out of luck, so hopefully you can fix it with one of the two options above and not have to worry about it.
