I’m sure it would look awesome, but uhhhhhh.... Faces are more susceptible to damage without armor.

i dont understand your logic, we have energy shields bro.without that we are one shot kill anyways.

Your shields aren't the only thing you have. They go down after you're shot a bunch or by one strong enough hit, then your armor is the only thing protecting you. That's the red part of your health bar. Are you saying you'd [i]intentionally[/i] expose yourself to easy 1-hit headshot kills in PvE and PvP just so you could look at your hair sometimes? (because it is a FPS and you'll be spending most of the time not looking at your character while you're fighting). Maybe you just need a "Takes off helmet" emote for when you feel like seeing your character's head.

It doesn't have to be 100% realistic, just realistic enough for the game. Not visually showing a helmet defeats the purpose of having helmets. It negates the sense of how armor perks are applied too. So a more rational, sensible request is to just have an emote so you can temporarily take off the helmet and actually be able to look at yourself. You could look at yourself at any time without having to make up some excuse for why you have a helmet in your inventory that's invisible on your head despite literally nothing else in the game works like that... And because [i]any other option you wouldn't ever see your face[/i], so what would be the point?
