I was hoping bungie were going to do this for armour. It makes sense not to bring forward weapons as the year 1 weapons were designed with static rolls in mind and giving the randomised rolls might make certain weapons overpowered. Year one armour had no perks attached however so there is no possible detriment to adding them to the new loot pool. Plus year 2 armour is ugly af...
