That's the price you pay for using a low risk weapon and picking off someone who likely had no chance at countering. Go join the fight

"low risk", snipers have the exact same risk factor as shotguns, just you know... the opposite.
-
Tell me how sitting in the back of the map, lining up your shot on someone who is likely not even aware of your presence, is as risky as getting up in someone's face?

if the maps were bigger, you would be right, but i think cause they built them for 4v4, then filled them back up with 6, its a little more cluttered and chaotic. just try and sit in a spot and camp, and you'll soon find yourself with a titans shoulder in your face. i get you point, but the same way shotguns should be able to play super aggressively, snipers shouldn't be at a disadvantage for playing more strategically .

You're right about the maps to a certain extent, but any good sniper is keeping an eye on his radar, not hard scoping, and taking out that shoulder charging titan before he gets close. Especially now that you can have a shotgun and a sniper equipped at the same time, it's actually never been easier. And boom, dead titan, there's your green ammo.

ahahaha yea, i dunno if i fit "good sniper". more the fact that in order to compete in pvp now, its much more advantageous to use shotties, and close range weapons, at the end of the day, i miss the old days, and you and i both have valid points, but lets be honest. we don't really have much say in which direction the pvp is going. i mean tomorrw, we might all be forced to use swords as the meta. who knows. which is a shame, no matter what style of play you wanna use.

Yea true. They really need to bring some of those bigger maps back from D1 so there's at least something for every play style.
