What are you even rambling about?
You can continue to use any weapon from year 1 - including being able to increase its power level.
What you won't be able to do is use the mods coming with the new Mod 2.0 system and they will retain their static perks.

How was it ramblng if you just said exactly what the problem is. R u high?

How are you going to be put at a severe disadvantage with using a year 1 weapon based on not being able to use the new mods or remaining with static perks compared to year 2 weapons? Have you actually seen and used a year 2 weapon or know exactly which perks and/or mods will make a weapon from year 1 null and void?

Well when you put it like that, Bungie does have a habit of copying weapons and then making the stats worse. I'll give you that. Look at the atrocious iron Banner clone garbage. The disadvantage is that your new drops you can remove and replace the mods as you see fit. As well, the mods should be more interchangeable, getting rid of particular crap that can only be used on a hunter hood, for example. at the end of the day that means somebody would be able to be customizing their Loadout for the situation as opposed to you which you can't. The Crucible cry babies want to start a moaning campaign anytime there's an extra five damage and start calling it OP and calling for nerfs. At the end of the day, this isn't Destiny three, it's season 4 for chrissakes. It's another slap in the face - hey you work hard for all of that, so get rid of it and get some new stuff. Maybe that's the fill-in for the lack of content that they always seem to have a problem with

Y2 mods aren't old content. You can't expect to get new stuff for free.

You sound like one good sheep. Man Bungie got you all well-trained.

Look at my Bungie.net activity... Wtf dude?
