Triple Threat Titans 52- A Visit to the City

Triple Threat Titans Chapter Index **This Chapter is from Chase's view. We haven't heard from him in a while** Mark-54 has a fangirl. Blake has a fangirl. Those fangirls hate each other. JJ and Sarah are dating. Flynn won't leave Mia alone. It's chaos at the Tower. I need to be alone. I'm not going back to Mars. Mercury is definite No. Venus is a maybe. No, I'm sick of Vex. I'm tired of being attacked by anything. I look at Rosegold-7 and Kyra. They're yelling at each other. Yep, chaos at the Tower. I walk to the railing and gazed at the City, and how it's humbly nestled beneath the Traveler. And the walls built by the Titans, some who were now protecting the walls protecting the City. I turned my attention at Puma. The ghost nodded. "You want to visit the City. I see, you want to know who you're proctecting," Puma said. "That, also, the Tower's a mess. I feel like some fight might spark," I replied, "Also, be polite and humble. I don't want to talk about the crazy stuff I've seen. I don't want to worry the citizens." "I can get us down there," Puma replied. He transmatted us into midtown. Right now, it was early in the morning, shortly after dawn. Markets near the street were preparing to open at 10:00 am or so. There was a man having trouble carrying two crates of fruit to his market stand. I ran over to him, picked up the top crate and carried it to his booth. The man set down The other crate at his fruit stand. "Thank you," he said. "You're welcome," I replied. "How can I repay you?" he asked "You don't need to," I replied. "You're too kind," the man replied. He shook my hand, "Thank you for protecting us, Titan. As a whole, the City is gratified. Be careful out there." As I continued, I saw a young awoken girl searching for someone. "Dylan! Dylan!" she called. She walked toward an alley, repeating the name Dylan. She turned around. She marched up to me and asked anxiously, "Have you seen my little brother? About 4' 3"; pale lavender skin; orange eyes; touseled, short, dark blue hair." "I will help you find him," I said. She grabbed my hand and lead me to a nearby plaza with trees in the center, "Dylan could be in one of these trees. He likes to pretend he's sniping Fallen Captains." She began looking through the branches of the tree she was closest to. I searched the branches of a nearby tree. A little kid poked his head out through the leaves. He had pale lavender skin, orange eyes, and short touseled dark blue hair. I decided the kid was Dylan. Dylan was hanging upside down from a branch. He said, "I've been spotted." He spun out his imaginary Last Word and shot me in the heart with imaginary bullets. "You shot me," I admitted. Dylan chuckled. "Okay, time to get out of that tree," I said. "No, I have the high ground. It's a tact-tic-cul ad-vent-edge." He was only six years old, so he struggled saying tactical advantage. "Well, you can't snipe if you have a bump on your head," I replied, "Come down." Dylan swung from a low branch like a monkey. But he seemed to terrified to let go of the branch. I grabbed him by the waist and set him on the ground. He ran to his sister. "Thanks," she said. "Not a problem," I replied. I pointed to Dylan, "And you need to be careful. Those Hunters out past the walls are expirenced. You should remember that you can't snipe if you got no arms or legs." Throughout the day, I helped multiple citizens. One lady slipped and dropped her basket of goods. I helped her back on to her feet, and collected her goods for her. Another time, a kid was being made fun of because she couldn't reach an orange from a basket at a fruit stand. I helped her reach the orange. I also lifted her spirits by telling her that one day she would be very tall. One man was telling stories about legendary Titans throughout the history of the City to all who would listen. I was very respectful about listening. I heard about many Titans and their stories: Rezzyl Azzir and The Risen; The Battle of Six Fronts; Both Jagi and Radegast's Hosts; The Iron Banner; The Battle of Twillight Gap; and Saint-14's Crusade. The man noticed that I was in the crowd, and called me out, "And maybe one day we'll here stories about this kind Titan right here -Erm, what's your name?" "Chase," I replied. "Chase!" the man declared. I felt quite embarrassed to be called out like that. But the crowd clapped. I hid my embarrassment behind a serious face. I did a few other good deeds until the sun began to set. I headed back to the Tower. To be continued...
