Redrix Claymore not worth the grind effort.

Ok so I thought id give my feedback on this since Bungie says they are listening so here goes. Redrix Claymore is not worth the grind. Reason being is that every loss cost 10 points reduced on you rank. Now imagine someone getting started on the grind. Won two matches which in turn adds up to 45 points sitting at Rank 0. Then next 4 matches were all losses. Just lost 45 points. tries again and wins two to get the points back. Losses the next matches, lost 35 points. See where im getting at? Not necessary not good at crucible but its the losses that get to us. Quickplay Crucible is more fun and I am Rank 3 now and still progressing. Lost some matches but I am pushing forward. With Competitive the grind feels like it does not move forward but simply bounce up and down. So again, the Redrix Claymore is not worth the effort due to the losses that cost points. Id like to have it but not like this.

  • Kinda late but still pissed. I just got back into D2 after a summer of ignoring it, and I was playing quickplay (which, by the way, is so fun now). Afterwards, I saw that my competitive rank was 503. I was told you needed 1050 to get the gun which was absolute hell to reach. When I learned that the actual number was at least a 1000 higher, I lost all faith. I had been sweating with a four stack for days, and I could barely hit my current rank. None of us are bad at crucible, but it took way too much effort to get even halfway. Make the grind possible to people who are devoted.
