I thought that the stream showed a better devils with Icarus grip a random role and a 10 range masterwork. Isn’t that a y1 weapon?

you need to re aquire it in year 2 for some reason, they plan to get rid of mod support for all year one weapons essentially making the last year's worth of gear useless as it can't take advantage of the new year 2 mods that actually do stuff

yes I'm afraid so, you won't even be able to apply that mod that makes it accurate in the air for those sweet 360 skill shots or that one that makes the radar come back instantly. the thing is mods are pretty much extra perks now so older weapons are losing out if they can't use them, i wanted to turn my auto into an add wreaking machine with a mod that increases damage to red bars and makes it more accurate but now my dreams are crushed :(
