At this point I just want to give up on life. This past year has been nothing but pure and utter bullshit for me. I’ve lost a few family members. Been having stressful days at school. Failed two state tests and had to spend my summer reviewing the topics just to take them again in a few weeks. And on top of it, I’ve literally got no friends so I’ve fallen into a depression and I just want to kill my self at this point. Everyone keeps telling me it’ll get better. THATS A -blam!-ING LIE. They only say because that’s what they think is the best option. It won’t get better. I’m pretty sure I won’t make it past Christmas at this rate. I’ll either try to do serious harm to myself or someone else (or something else) if bullshit keeps flying my way

  • Shit will never get better unless you yourself wanna take the steps to make it better. Just saiyan. You could tell me you want to get better, but if you haven't taken the steps, or have taken steps only to give up shortly then you must really not wanna get better. That or it's not nearly as bad as you say. My best friend just admitted himself for mental health a second time this year. He wants to get better, i truly think he will get better. If he can do it, so can you.

  • I love your posts on the this forum so that counts for something. You can do this. Find a hobby, something to keep you going during the pain. Find people, friends, people you can count on. You can get past this it’ll just take some effort.

You’re young and stupid. I don’t mean offense... I was young and stupid at your age too. Being young is a good thing; you have your life ahead of you. Luckily, being stupid is good for you too, since you said some stupid things P.S. I know you probably only said this for attention, but who are you planning to harm?

I won't feel bad for telling you this, but I do understand its not usually the best approach. First things first RIP your family. My 2¢ (really long) Get some friends. Its not that hard my dude. Just interact with people and see who you click with. If you have a bad reputation, focus on tearing that down and then building up a better one. Act nicer to people and more confident, even if you're not. It won't be instant but it will be definite. Everybody has stressful days at school (or a stressful school year, for that matter) don't think of it in the moment, think of the future. Grind it out today so you don't have to tomorrow, something you clearly have to do as of now. I have enough homework to occupy 3-5 hours of my day at minimum neat everyday due to reasons. But it has to get done Change your mentality, I don't know nor do I claim to know where you started in life. I absolutely dont have slightest idea of the trials you've gone through. But anyone here can tell you where you're going. It'll take time, but learn self discipline and motivation. If you can't motivate yourself, use videos and quotes to help you. Finding the right one isnt that difficult and at least for a moment you'll be inspired. And that's all you need. Don't go hurting someone or something else just because youre lifes becoming a trainwreck. You're just going to spread the hate along. Learn about your flaws and your shortcomings and learn how to best nullify them. Take pride in what you do well and try to do things better. TLDR: Im not gonna tell you it'll get better. I'm telling you get your shit together.

So have multiple people I know and when my best friend woke up in the hospital after trying to commit suicide the first thing he said we he regretted it. You might not believe it now but the only way it doesn’t get better is if you end it. Take care mate. You ever need someone to talk too im here

  • I know exactly how you feel man. My life is just in utter ruin right now as well. I don't know what to do tbh, I'll probably go to the doctor and get one of those medications that make you high. So I can manage in everyday life. Good luck to you though man.

I’m probably the only one who thinks this, but I don’t want any kind of drug to try and make my life better. Even if it’s prescribed. Should things get worse though, I’ll probably have to consider it. Best of luck to you as well man

  • You shouldn’t. Anti-depressants have objective benefits

  • I mean, I take them. But It's not for everybody. Some people have a chemical imbalance in their brain in which case anti-depressants would be needed. And some people just need to talk about shit. I personally need something else like Ativan tbh with you.
