Kinnda wish they could find a way of bringing these mods to console. Be kinnda cool if they could work some kindda deal. Heck Valve did it with Black Mesa. That started out as a fan project to remake the first Half-Life in the Half-Life 2 engine. Valve made them an offer to release it as a purchaseable game on Steam for $20 bucks.

  • In theory they could add it through the creation club. Not sure how feasible that would be though.

  • The thing with the consoles(Xbox at least) is that Fallout 4 only has 2GB of space and this mod will probably take up more than that. There are huge mods like this for Skyrim, like Beyond: Bruma and other large quest mods, but only because you have more space for mods.

  • They could potentially bring parts of it to Xbox. It's just a matter of whether or not the team decides they wish to go through the effort of porting it. It will likely never come to PS4. Sony is a bit more restrictive as to what software is allowed to run on their console than Microsoft. A PS4 port would require a hacked console bypassing those restrictions. That would be far too small a niche population to justify the endeavour. Basically, you'd need to petition console devs to make consoles as open computing systems as PCs if you wish for more mod support. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo will never intentionally make their consoles so open.

And if I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like this mod is dlc sized. The map is slightly larger than the Far Harbor map, but that would mean that it's smaller than the Boston Commonwealth map. So they could treat it as a dlc quest mod. But as you say, it depends on whether the mod team wants to port it. I would hope that they at least consider the possibility. I would like to point out that the mod author behined Falskaar, a dlc sized quest mod, ported that mod to Skyrim SE and then brought it to XB1.
