Zyvantel, The Final Shape (Part Two)

Hello everyone! If you would like to know who Zyvantel is and how the place looks scroll to the bottom of this post and go to shadowraidbosses and it should be there :) MECHANICS: First part: Zyvantel will be standing at the dead center of his stage, hovering. The first floor and the second floor are accessible at the beginning of every phase. The beginning will be to just hold out and watch the mist. A text will pop up saying "Zyvantel begins the ritual". When this happens, the column in the center will begin to glow and fade away, revealing a symbol. Three guardians will gain a buff known as *Pathfinder* and three other guardians will possess a buff known as *Possessor of Marks*. There will be three platforms within the mist that will be overflowing with power. There will also be 3 hive ascendant portals that open up in a random location out of the 5 hive portals. Second part: The guardians with the *Pathfinder* buff must stand on a platform that is within the mist (failure to do so - meaning you take too long - will result in a wipe. Guardians who don't have the buff cannot activate the *Beacon of Execution*). While the other guardians who have the *Possessor of Marks* buff must look at where the column once was to see their designated symbol so they can go to the corresponding portal. Third part: (Pathfinder part) The moment the Possessor of Marks step into their correct portal, a text will appear saying "Zyvantel summons his malevolence". These are his elite forces that are nearly impossible to kill unless you have the *Beacon of Execution* buff, which allows your abilities to recharge MUCH faster (think of mayhem with a 3 second recharge). There will be an IMMENSE amount of enemies that will spawn out of the 3 portals so be prepared. The Pathfinders only gain the *Beacon of Execution* buff, when they are on the plate. Every so often, Zyvantel will begin a debuff known as *Impermeable Breach* which is an attempt to close off the connection for the Possessor of Marks - leading to a wipe. The Pathfinders can only stop his attack if they are all on their plate doing damage to his shield (much like Calus' wipe feature). This would happen often so the Pathfinders need to be aware at all times. Fourth Part (Possessor part) When the Possessors teleport to the ascended level (second level), they will see a knight on their symbol known as a "Primordial Relic Proprietor". This knight floats off the floor and shoots an arc laser (similar to the warlocks new arc super coming to Forsaken). Once the knights are killed, the Possessors will have to stand on their plates. They, too, will become Pathfinders and gain the *Beacon of Execution* buff whenever they step on their platform. They will then have an option to sacrifice light into the symbol within their platform. In the center of the room, symbols that are shown on the pad will begin to appear one at a time. The Possessor's job is to sacrifice with their corresponding symbol when the center demands it. During this time, Malevolent Thralls will be appearing from portals so be cautious. Once there is enough sacrifices, a random guardian from the ascended level will teleport to the highest level (3rd level) along with their symbol. During this time, the other two guardians will have to defend the platforms and watch for them every so often because Zyvantel will begin to use his *Impermeable Breach* on both levels, so make sure to follow procedure. Fifth part: The guardian that has ascended to the 3rd level must make their way to the end of the room, which lies a door that opens up to a bigger room and a sacrifice that is currently being held. In the center of the sacrifice lies an enemy Ogre known as "Malevolence Offering" and there will be three Knights guarding the ritual; they are called a "Liturgy Warden". The Knights have a protective barrier around the Ogre, so the only way to take out the Ogre is by taking out the Knights first. Once you take out the Ogre, a pool of Darkness will be on the floor where it once stood. If you near the pool, a buff known as *Touch of Darkness* will appear. Sixth Part (DPS phase): Once the guardian has the *Touch of Darkness* buff, he will then be teleported back to the previous level. When the guardian returns, the other two guardians will have to go through the ascendant portals along with him to go back to the lower level. This needs to be done quickly because a massive amount of enemies will appear on their level (meaning you can't stay there for too long but don't worry because all the ascendant portals on the third level will be active so you can go through any of them). Once you returned back to the lowest level, the guardian with the *Touch of Darkness* buff needs to go up to Zyvantel and hold Square (X if Xbox) and they will perform an animation of them charging a super powerful punch while running to Zyvantel. They will jump in the air and punch him in the face, creating a powerful Darkness shockwave. However, this now weakens Zyvantel and you can now do DPS on him. The moment he's weakened, he will create a staff made out of pure Darkness (so it's all black with a mist around it) and begin to start charging towards guardians and trying to swing it at them. It is a 2 hit kill so be cautious. He will also be teleporting around so be aware. His weakened phase only lasts 40 seconds. Last part: After the DPS phase, Zyvantel will do a wipe feature known as *Zyvantel's Wrath*. The only way to stop it is to have the three pathfinders step on their plate and use the remaining light within the plate to shoot him. A text will then appear, saying "The light diminishes". This means that the light within the plate can only be used to attack him 3 times and that's it. The final usage will have a text appear, saying "The light fades away". Rinse and Repeat Zyvantel's last move is to try to escape from the guardians. He is weak and is oozing out darkness energy. Use the pools of Darkness to gain a buff called *Might of Darkness* to shoot a beam of dark energy at him so that he dies once and for all. ENRAGE MODE: Zyvantel Shoots a tether that never goes away and increases the mist to cover all of the first and second level. This usually will result to a wipe. HARD MODE: When Zyvantel begins his ritual, all of the ascendant portals will open up, but only 3 will have the symbol. These symbols will constantly be rotating throughout the 6 portals so be on the lookout for the symbol that you're given. Once the ritual begins, the first level, every so often, will have an "Malevolence Offering" spawn in to sacrifice, so be cautious of that and take it out as quickly as possible. On the highest level, where the ritual takes place, there will 3 "Malevolence Offering" enemies instead if one; One Knight, Wizard, and Ogre. And the "Liturgy Warden" changes to wizards that look like the Sisters in the King's Fall raid. These wizards can also be resurrected if taken too long to kill the offerings and can also heal them. One wizard per offering. When the ritual begins, Three Knights known as Pathkeepers will spawn from one of the random portals. The Pathfinders are the only ones that can take these guys out. Once the Knights are dealt with, a distinct symbol will appear for each and every Pathfinder. They must then find their correct plate that has their corresponding symbol. Failure to go to the correct platform will result in *Light's Assimilation*. Malevolent Knights, Wizards, Ogres, and Acolytes will be added to the enemy pool for the Pathfinders. Zyvantel now has all of his abilities right from the get go. And yes, he can use all of them. *Impermeable Breach* is more frequent. (Meaning it happens 3 times instead of 2 times. if he gets to a fourth time, it's a wipe. I'll explain in challenge mode.) DPS phase is now 30 seconds and he also has a Hallowed Boomer along with his staff. CHALLENGE: Now the Pathfinders can only stop Zyvantel *Light's Assimilation* a certain amount of times before the light in the plate fades away. This is not an issue on normal mode but in hard mode, you can only stop it 3 times. Once you step on your plate, staying on your corresponding symbol doesn't matter anymore (this only matters for Hard Mode). You'll still have light within it so you can have fast abilitie recharges but there's not enough to stop his Assimilation. This means you can use the plates to spam your super at Zyvantel in his weakened phase. HOWEVER, for challenge mode, all three Pathfinders must be on one plate to take stop his Assimilation, in which case it does, but all the light in that plate fades away until he activates his *Zyvantel's Wrath* debuff. You have to make sure all the light from the plates fade away. This also means no fast recharge for supers for DPS Phase. To activate the plates with light again for *Zyvantel's Wrath*, 3 more Pathkeepers will spawn but these guys will be Ogres instead of Knights. Take them out so you can use the light on all 3 plates to stop his Wrath. Rinse and Repeat. Let me know your thoughts and tell me if you'd like to see more of these! Thanks for reading this LENGTHY post and as always guardians, stay frosty :)
