If you join in a strike, stick with your team

If you start a strike, heroic or regular, you get matched into a team. And being a team means working together, not repeatedly trying to run past all the enemies while the other two work their way through them, and dying, leaving the other two to kill all the enemies while you wait to respawn Seriously, i've had 5 strikes today where someone kept trying the "mad dash" tactic. If you're there at the start of the strike, you shouldn't be ending it with less than 30 kills while i've got over 170 (Edit: the point i'm trying to say here is pull your weight, and work with your team. Don't be some idiot that runs off by themselves, dies without even reaching the next checkpoint, waits to revive, and then repeats that process multiple times in a single strike. It's basically the equivalent of sitting in the back doing a dance emote while the other 2 players are killing their way through

  • If I'm doing milestones I actually like when I have someone on my team who can get through the strike so fast that I magically end up at the boss. At this point everyone's power level is high enough that we all know we are going to beat the strike. The only real show of skill is the people who can somehow get to the boss in less than 10 minutes, its actually quite impressive. Have you seen some of the things these people can drive a sparrow over? The way I see it, its not about instant gratification its about raising the bar for yourself to the point where one slip up can cost you dearly. I can't speed run but sometimes I do try to follow the guy who is speed running because its interesting. We've been playing some of these strikes for almost a year and some of the people who play have played them hunreds if not thousands of times so what's the big deal? They risk looking stupid if they screw up, but if they don't the whole team gets the milestones done faster.
