Most people are only doing strikes for milestones or exclusive items. You will be hard pressed to find anyone that wants to spend 30 minutes on a strike killing everything, just to get nothing for their effort. There's zero incentive.
Don't blame the player, blame the developers.

30 minutes? No. But 15? 20? Sure. Shouldn’t be running through. Makes it take longer with all the revives you’ll need....

And revives aren't necessary when the "rusher" is pulling you ahead with the "joining allies" feature.

Good point. I forgot about that! That’s even more annoying. Me and the third guy are actually doing what you are supposed to do and killing ads when the schmuck who ran ahead into a no respawn zone can’t handle it when he actually HAS TO fight ads, and dies. Then we get taken from our activity, are given a death (!) and have to get dragged ahead to help his sorry a$$.....so frustrating.

The leader (using that loosely) dying doesn't initiate the joining allies prompt though. It happens anytime you cross into the next zone.

man that's even worse!!!!! At least if it was only if he dies, you could claim "hey if I'm good, it won't affect you". but now? no matter what, i get pulled in? ridiculous
