If Uldren is hearing voices then it seems extremely likely that an Ahamkara is the source.
There is also the line from the sealed ahamkara grasps "Dreamer, awakened, the bearer shall meet." We do have bones of ahamkara for various pieces of armor sooooo maybe we meet an ahamkara.
I know there were claims of ahamkara sightings after the hunt so I doubt they were all killed. If my entire race was hunted nearly to extinction I'd be pretty pissed too. Raid boss pissed.

But I don't see Uldren "bearing" anything from an Ahamkara.

I think [i]we[/i] are the bearers and might finally encounter one. As far as Uldren goes you don't have to bear anything for them to influence you and/or make deal with one. They were hunted because the price to make a deal with one was too high. (Like killing Cayde maybe)
