I ask you this, have you actually managed to change your genotype? Have you done anything beyond hormone treatments and cosmetic surgery? The answer of course is no simply because that's not possible. You treat your mental delusion as something to be proud of, something that makes you a brave and unique individual. But cutting off your balls isn't brave, it is foolhardy behavior in the pursuit of an impossible goal. You will always be male regardless of how much you mutilate your body.

  • To a point I agree, and it has taken me a very long time to get my head around this fact. All I can tell you is that I have a goal and unless I carry that out and become me I know I will have completely wasted my life. What I have done to myself could have killed me, but it did mean I was comfortable enough to not be as wound up and dysphoric about my body. Gender identity is a very complicated thing, each person is different and suffers with it to a different extent. I just hope I can get myself to a point where I am ‘happy’ to be honest I have embraced who I am now. I like the fact I’m not a genetic female. I like the fact I will be different and out the box. Because I would hate to be normal and the same as everyone else. I am unique and to whatever degree I manage to become me is, enough for me.

  • Technically speaking everyone is unique to an extent, that doesn't make anyone special. Living in pursuit of a goal that is not just difficult to reach but simply impossible is to live a life devoid of fulfillment. Why must you do this to yourself? Why do you have to go through this suffering in the name of a mental delusion?

That is your response to something you clearly do not understand. Why don’t you read all the replies and the corresponding answers to this whole thread and see where you end up at the end of it. Gender dysphoria is not an easy thing to live with and it’s not easy to explain I just am me. Just like you are just you. You don’t need to justify to me why you are male and why you continue to be male just the same as it’s very hard for me to do the same. Only someone with Gender identity issues will understand what’s it like to live like we do.

  • That's the same as saying only that only psychopaths can understand others of their kind and it is demonstrably false. I am male because my biology dictates this you are male for the same exact reason. I do not need to understand how you feel to know that you are still an XY male. You can call yourself whatever you damn well like but that doesn't change reality.

  • Ha you like others like you make me smile. There is no point in entertaining you and so I shall not bother. Thanks for your input into my thread.
