This is much better than D1. As far as roleplaying, if you were say a Dead orbit guy, why would you be using a FWC catalyst or weapon ever?

They wouldn't. Now we are forced to pledge them to the same faction. My hunter has been loyal to dead orbit since D1, never once switched. It's disgusting to see that fwc notification on his character screen this rally, all because it's my titan's turn to pledge. It will be even worse seeing that NM pledge next rally when my warlock gets a go.

Why would 3 guardians from separate factions share vault space and inventory?

Edit: I get what you are saying about the 3 factions being different and they probably wouldn't cooperate and share gear, but this is still a game, and it should be fun above all else.

I like the limited time nature, it's a nod to the hardcore player, IMO. I like that you roleplay your guardians, I do too.

Before the "one faction per account" bs they putted, my titan was NM, my warlock was DO and my hunter was FWC. Each one of them carries the weapon that belongs to the faction catalyst, so no problem in that front. Funny enough, each faction has the catalyst of the weapons that where given in the beta to each class, Titan>NM>Sweet Bussiness, Hunter>FWC>Sunshot and Warlock>DO>Graviton Lance.
