How about an option to build your own sparrow
Design shop
Airframe
Using materials (oh D1 Spinmetal, sapphire wire and plasteel plating + etheric light, Ascendent shards, mag weld wire and a C-Drive array order)
And add 6-7 perk slots ....for acceleration, top speed, handling, shields, braking, aerial agility etc
Maybe a dual seat
All earned through quests
Bring back the horns
1000's of variations
Make it OUR Sparrow
Then bring in SRL
Give Amanda something to do!

How about that for weapons and gear wow that would add a whole new type of grind to destiny.

Dude I want that for weapons and gear, I couldn't care less for sparrows because I'll pick a heavy pike any day any time

I wanted that too We should have been scavenging and building our own weapons, frames/stocks/sights/barrels/ammo from guerrilla warfare style attacks on the huge occupying force (remember those huge Cabal tanks thundering through the streets in D2 ....never got used!) Stealing Cabal tech, just to reach Titan (and acquiring Hive tech too) Cayde Stash items could have had blueprints for hybrid tech

Sounds awesome man good idea. Atleast in D1 you could change your contrail and horn. Lol Bungie really trashed this game from head to toe.

There are a few of good ideas i've seen posted about adding things to this game in the last couple years like this. It's just this is the wrong company for things like this. Bungie only wants to keep the basics and will never really look into this games potential. Like the ships being more useful instead of just being a loading screen...

This is a cool idea, make Amanda useful. Would be cool to make our own ships as well.
