Redrix Claymore not worth the grind effort.

Ok so I thought id give my feedback on this since Bungie says they are listening so here goes. Redrix Claymore is not worth the grind. Reason being is that every loss cost 10 points reduced on you rank. Now imagine someone getting started on the grind. Won two matches which in turn adds up to 45 points sitting at Rank 0. Then next 4 matches were all losses. Just lost 45 points. tries again and wins two to get the points back. Losses the next matches, lost 35 points. See where im getting at? Not necessary not good at crucible but its the losses that get to us. Quickplay Crucible is more fun and I am Rank 3 now and still progressing. Lost some matches but I am pushing forward. With Competitive the grind feels like it does not move forward but simply bounce up and down. So again, the Redrix Claymore is not worth the effort due to the losses that cost points. Id like to have it but not like this.

  • I think that they need to keep some penalty for loss but it should be lower, and the loss streaks less severe. If you win one, lose one then you are going up for a little bit but the higher your rank is, the less you get for a win, so it just becomes slower and more tedious and eventually if you’re going even; 1 win : 1 loss, you aren’t moving at all. The main grind for Redrix’s Claymore shouldn’t be being perfect in Crucible, it should be mostly dedication with a sprinkle of skill. People who are bad at crucible will get good enough to persevere through it then, after playing for a bit, as opposed to just sitting there, feeling helpless.
