Too Many Weapons locked behind Team Play

I struggle to get some of the best weapons in the game because it is locked behind team play activities like the Raids, Escalation Protocol, Trails, etc. I appreciate that when you have a team to play, you have a chance to receive these amazing drops. Yet, when you prefer solo-play, or find teams excluding you based on the absence of a specific weapon or level cap, or the random drop mechanic refuse to give you the Sins of the Past, this issue become a matter of deciding whether you want to continue or move on. Consider Bungie's advertising. What would we say if we heard that Destiny 2 is a great game wherein only teams will be awarded the best gear. Solo players are unwelcome. That, if you chose to play as solo player, you could be assured never to get some of the best weapons. That, to be an collector of gear, you'll never have access to majority of the gear. That, as solo player you will always be killed by the weapons you can't ever access as solo player. That, even if you make time for team activities, the 'hobby' drop rate will ensure you'll never get what you need. That, instead of giving you what you want when you eventually play as a team, you'll receive repeated drops of the stuff you all ready have. Want to play our game? Suggestion 1: Please enable a vendor to sell the weapons locked behind team activities. These weapons can be expensive (like 50,000 glimmer for a weapon purchase by a faction that losses). In teams activities they drop for free (other than time), but through a vendor mechanic, at least you can access them. Suggestion 2: Enable a grind mechanic wherein these weapons could be gained via fulfillment of a bounty system you pick up at a vendor (look at the weapon wheel in Curse of Osiris). This single issue (accessibility of great weapons locked behind team activities with horrible drop rates) has demotivated my previous clan, and caused them to "move on to other games". I know your purpose is to make this a "hobby" but you are doing this at a cost of solo players, collectors, and those that can't make this a hobby.

All your characters are above 370 and are therefore capable of finishing all activities in the game. Spire of Stars and the last wave of Escalation Protocol will be hard but doable. I used to be a solo player. I was extremely shy and afraid to talk to anyone or show my voice to anyone, and I played everything alone because of that.
or find teams excluding you based on the absence of a specific weapon or level cap
This line here leads me to understand you're not a solo player, you're just lazy and ignorant. You can MAKE YOUR OWN GROUPS without those requirements instead of trying to join another person's group. There's a "Create Fireteam" button for a reason. Use it and you can do whatever you want with whatever requirements you want!
