It did actually, I was just sitting somewhere on Titan waiting for a public event, then when it was active, I went it did it and realized it didn't give me tokens or renown like the last one I did not 5 minutes before

Sorry man, that sucks. I think they will offer these again after season 3, I would pledge your next favorite faction next time and then decide on the last rally if you want the third. Don't waste a whole event getting that last 5.
