When a Christian gets to Heaven, the Bible says that he/she will not be able to see God in a human form (or at all). That's why when people make images of Jesus or God, it is in violation of the second commandment.

Wait, how exactly is selecting God a violation of the Second commandment? This ain’t Islam.
-
Not selecting God, creating images or pictures of him, when no one has proof of what he looks like, and most likely never will (in this life at least).
-
I didn’t mean selecting. I meant depicting, and I guess spellcheck got me and I didn’t see it.
-
I getcha.

Look at the Iconoclastic Controversy. It was decided at the council of Nicea ( forgot which one) that the use of images is not idolatry.

Where does it say that?
