I used to hate meta weapon users too. Then I realized that all weapons can work if you use them correctly. It’s more about the player than the weapon they are using. Think about It this way; if you know each lobby is going to have at least 2-3 graviton lance users all of which have some kind of cqc weapon in the kinetic slot: use this knowledge to your advantage. Avoid long lines of sight and only fight in cqc situations. Chances are if you do it right you will be more experienced and adept in the cqc engagements in comparison to them. They will be more accustomed to shooting down long lanes and playing passively for picks. Make every fight in your terms. I use Home for the Lost with riskrunner and lucky raspberry arc bolts. I play aggressively around cover for that crispy 3 tap on any player no matter the weapon they are carrying.

That's very true! Me personally, I use either a Battlescar or the ToTN Sub (I forgot the name lol) in my Kinetic Slot with the FWC Scout in my Energy Slot with the FoeTracer Exotic Helmet for my Hunter. My whole playstyle is all about rushing which usually causes them to run behind a wall or something but by that point I'm already tracking them via my Exotic Helmet so that I know when they're about to peak before they do, giving me a massive advantage because then I can get the first shot off and in some cases throw a grenade.

An excellent example of a unique and effective play-style. I’d love to play with you, are you on pc?

Thanks, I appreciate that. And unfortunately no, I play on the PlayStation 4.
