They have to make money somewhere, its part of game development. Eververse has gotten some very significant changes for the better. Less reliance on RNG, more access to better loot. In my opinion, if they wanna sell an emote in order to ensure my future content is better, let them.
Activision is now focused on Black Ops 4, until it crashes and burns like the previous 4 Call of Duty games

Normally I would agree, but the trend is breeding an exclusivity based on money that will make games different forever. I guess we'll have to let the future generations of gamers sort out whether it was for the better.

After what has been happening, with games like Battlefront 2, Publishers and Developers are realizing that players are not going to take it anymore.... Things are changing.

just look at BFV, no more Premium, no more Lootboxes... EA/DICE has learned.... now, activision is way more stubborn, but now they have Black ops 4 to milk too.
