I really don’t mind going back to Kanto, that sounds like surefire way to make sales. (Though I had hoped that the first Pokémon game on Switch would feature a new region. Personally, I’d love a another game in the style of Black/White, where it’s around 150 new Pokémon, and the old ones don’t show up till post-game. But it is what it is). What I’m not happy about is the rumors that they’ll implement Pokémon Go mechanics. I’m just not a big fan of Go, and I prefer the mainline games for my Pokémon fix. I’ll have to see if & how they implement these features.

  • Well, I don't like the idea of the Pokemon go implementations either, I can see them doing it. As Pokemon Go, and it's MicroTransactions have probably made Nintendo more then a handful of dollars. So I could see them using this as a chance to possibly try reviving Pokemon Go to It's former heights. However having said that, my biggest fear is that Nintendo is starting at Generation 1 so they can scrap the Pokemon Bank, and therefore git rid of quite a few hacked Pokemon

  • Hopefully, they take advantage of the Switch and simply add more storage in the game, so we don’t have to use any apps and we can just transfer without one. But more than likely, they’ll probably just make a new Pokémon Bank with increased storage and just charge more for it. I just don’t want all the years I’ve put into making my Living Dex go to waste.
