Making Supers Super... again

I only play titan so I can really only speak for them, but I'm sure golden gun and possibly storm caller deserve buffs as well. Titan's sentinel shield and ward of dawn is pathetic. The thrown shield on sentinel only does 155 damage in the crucible. That's stupid. Every other projectile super is an instant kill. Why can't the thrown shield, which without armor you can only have up to 2 of, not be a kill on full health guardians. Its so stupid. Not only this, but the regular attack on sentinel is bad as well. The hit registration is really wonky sometimes sort of like how arc staff was before it got buffed. The other attack where the shield shoots out an AoE is fine though. Ward of Dawn on the other hand is just sad. In PvP I have made very few good plays with it. It has so little health, that it can be destroyed by team shotting alone. It doesn't stay around long enough to really do anything either. You get 30 seconds of a bubble. Which can only be shortened. I'd say give it a duration buff, and Blessing of Light back. At least then I don't have to camp my bubble as much which is really boring to play with and against. Fist of Havoc seemed OK to me, but I've heard complaints about it being easily outrunnable which I agree with. I wouldn't mind seeing a speed buff or something to it as I haven't been killed by a fist of havoc in a while. If anyone has any other supers that they think need to be buffed I'm all for it. I think supers should be game changing. I feel like a couple of them are pretty close to that but could be better.

  • They need to bring back the old supers. The new ones suck. Also, FoH was way better in D1. If they insist on FoH being a roaming super they need to triple the Sprint speed for titans while in super. I should not be able to back peddle and shoot as fast as someone, while in super is running twards me. I feel bad for titans. As soon as a Titan activates their super I run twards it knowing it will be an easy kill.

  • You can actually kill people with direct hits with the shield throw also on full life. Or do I have wrong memories?

    • Completely agree. In D1, once a super was active, you ran.

      • Don't forget about dawnblade, the swords need to magnatise to targets rather than the ground, if you get the swords close enough that is, so that you don't have to be super high in the air to hit anything.
