Whats everyone's Fair and Honest opinion of Warmind DLC
Hello Guardians Fellow Titan here back to the forum's, DLC 2 is out came back because I bought the expansion pass had to check out Warmind, Ive been having a blast with my fire-team and its great to play destiny 2 because I haven't touched the thing in a bit for good reason right anyways Spoiler Warning in replies so heads up, After the final mission me and my team was like is this it is it really over or more missions left to do and that's the problem yes its a step up from Osiris DLC but still lacks what we all want and that is a longer greater packed story that isn't a 7 mission type story, Heroic Strikes feel Heroic for sure definitively a great struggle as it should be I do give Bungie props on adding the emote wheel and the exotics now feel like they are exotics but still lack the realization that the weapon buffs and nurfs should be free content to all and not be pay walled behind the DLC screws the non DLC owners out of it, anyways do you guys agree on so what's you're thoughts on this DLC?

It was a smart move on Bungos part to make a soft light cap. It's not super fun to play shit underleveled, but it'll be satisfying to be strong enough to destroy Escalation Protocol. Plus, it'll take around a month to Max out with good RNG. That's a month of drip feeding that's sure to keep some people playing.

The entire Mars setting is cool,hunting for memory data and music boxes was fun,new strikes are cool,love that its about hive,love the valkyrie,its much better than curse of osiris,like the idea of esculation protocol,like the return of the warsat public event.The things that I don't like is the story is too short,the edz mission was basically just a lost sector,esculation protocol was not a matchmaking activity but the biggest thing is no hive raid on mars instead we get another cabal raid lair on the leviathan which I am so sick of going to for a raid activity.

+ Mars is a beautifully designed patrol area with lots of secrets to discover + Exotic reworks & masterworks add nicely to the grind + Strike difficulty feels more challenging & exciting - Warmind campaign is extremely short and the boss fights were disappointing - Softcap is too low and makes everything but milestones completely pointless - Escalation protocol is barely playable at this point, which is a terrible overlook in my eyes - Any loot after milestones is auto dismantle, I feel artificially throttled by this ret*rded system - new raid lair is again on the Leviathan. That's just taste, but I'm sick of the look and the puzzle crap, so I'll probably pass

I'm loving it so far, but i do think it's bit early to say yet, Osiris was good enough at the start but it was a week or 2 before you'd done everything, leveled up max, got all items and it all got samey. Mars itself is huge compared to mercury and there's a lot more to do. Escalation protocol is court of oryx\archons forge on steroids. so far i'm finding i don't have enough time to do everything, which is great. My only gripe is i bust my ass to get to 367 light by friday(work and playing)and the raid comes out at 370, altho i think that's also a good thing, i got something to look forward to next week and by all accounts 370 might not enough.
