When you call em out on it the BDF and Mods will label you as ‘toxic’.
Wait until the month is over when all the players leave the game again and this site is back to being a echo chamber of ‘wait til next DLC til they fix it and make it even better’ but theres ‘no problems right now and you’re entitled for believing there is’.
This is why we have a dying community on top of a dying franchise.
Lazy reskin of an ornament is one thing, lazy development of a full game dependent on lazy tact on dlc is another.

And thats exactly how the BDF wants it as it doesn’t stir the pot enough to put Bungie in a bad light for purposly making these choices.

There are multiple ways to address issues with the game. Some of them (insults, accusations, calling the game garbage eithout saying why) are toxic in nature. Others (suggesting reasonable fixes for said issues) are not.

Reasonable fix like... Stop ripping us off? We went from all new weapons and armor per vendor per dlc to slight reskins to ornaments that are basically shaders.

When the DLC players pass by yes. Just because you don’t get context doesnt mean its my fault. You obviously weren’t aware of the situation leading to the post #removeeververse community and the silencing policy attempts with bungies post farm only policy on the forums. Plus how the mods have handled these forums over the last few months. And then you’re telling me I’m smoking something because right now on DLC launch week the amount of outrage is getting pass the then usual echo chamber and I’m the crazy one. Ok. If ignorance is the strength of your argument I’m not bothered no more.

If you are arguing that this forum is, at any time, an echo chamber for people who defend Bungie, then, yeah, I do want some of what you're smoking. This place has never been an echo chamber for defending Bungie. Ever. A place for hating on every decision they've ever made? Yep. A place where for a month every post was just #removeeververse, no body to the post? Yep. A place where it's just one or two anti-Bungie topics being repeated endlessly by the forum hivemind? Yep. If you seriously think that this place has ever been an echo chamber for defending Bungie, you must be from the Earth-2 version of these forums.

I’ve laid out consistant mod behaviour, actual Bungie implemented policies and past events that led to the shape of of this, which I will again add, something you verified as existing as well. And then when analysis comes into play about what happened afterwards, its like *poof* no such thing as BDF *poof* no such thing as mods banning / warning posters who are more opiniated than others *poof* no such thing as Bungie intentionally creating an unwelcoming environment for older communties members. Its like non of these things exist or have to exist in your mind so your narrative can ring true that I’m the crazy one, when everyone but the BDF themselves can see it. Ever think when you’re calling someone crazy without a compelling argument to back it up, you may be the one ‘Earth-2’ projecting? Right now there is a thread on the mains with a whole series of people anecdotally talking about mod abuse. Right now there are people speaking up that have not spoken up because they left the game and community but this DLC has bought them back for a limited time. To pretend that this is not happening but excusing the bad parts only selectively as being the norm of what is currently; is playing to bias to the far end of the spectrum. The exact reason why the crazyness of the BDF damages the community of the game for the better, they’re so out of touch with themselves they can’t even see how out of touch the game is. Its this level of delusion that means I or anyone else without a Bungie tag, will not get through to you. Yet I’m the crazy one in your eyes. Well played with setting up that mental defense castle.
