DO NOT use a mobile hotspot to play Destiny.
Destiny needs a high quality internet signal and no mobile phone can provide what you need.
Use a cable link to the internet or at most Wifi (but still expect problems if you do use wifi).

Edited by Dredgen Swan: 5/13/2018 7:29:31 PMI'm aware of that, but i successfully used this same hotspot for 2 years straight, and had virtually no lag the majority of the time, with exceptions of random times where it would drop, and multiple friends in the area do the same. I live in an area where Satellite and Dial-up are the only things available, and satellite is so finicky and has terrible PING, and matchmaking isn't existent, with the hotspot tether, I got into matches almost as soon as I pressed Launch.
