  • If they’re going to allow us to level up only so much every week, so be it, but make it a gradual, weeklong pursuit, not a one day sprint. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/245019446?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0

I totally agree with you, however and this is just my opinion, I’ve been saying this since October, the changes that you suggest and what the community want are changes to the core mechanics which are “baked” deep into the game making it very difficult to change so it’s going to take time to implement, and the system you got is the best they could do in the time given. I’m no game designer by any stretch of the imagination, I’m also no fan of bungie, but this game has been built from the ground up to be very different from D1 and I’m guessing these changes must be a nightmare. Bungie are still to blame for this mess of a game, but they seem to be trying, it just depends on how long you’re willing to wait. Does that make sense?

  • Oh that’s obvious. These aren’t subtle changes. It’s not a scrollbar adjustment or switch, it’s deep rooted progression system changes. I do coding as part of my job, anytime “structural” code changes need to happen, it’s always the most time consuming and also the most frustrating, because you typically build and plan around the foundation you build. Changing it post release, it’s a big deal. I expect them to have something for us in 2.0 in September, I’m willing to wait and see where this goes. They haven’t screwed up enough to make me quit yet.
